You’ve likely heard encouragement to activate this mythical “”core.”” You probably even know how to tense your abdominal muscles and feel like you’re using it! But are you truly engaging your core?
In this class, we will demystify the concept of the core and work through multiple exercises without a sword to begin training our body in core activation. We will then pick up a sword (of any type!) and practice engaging our core using physical feedback from a partner as a guide.
These building blocks will take time to implement in your training, but will improve every aspect of your movement when performed correctly. From stepping through swinging, take your fighting to the next level using CORE POWER!
