Make new friends at the Time Traveler’s Ball, let your geek flag fly in our Cosplay Contest, and trade stories of battle at the bar with your fellow warriors all weekend long. No matter how fierce the competition, the worthiest opponents often make the fastest friends.

Thursday night at CombatCon is dedicated to one single thing – fun! Come join us for our special take on “Opening Celebrations” in two unique spaces – make new friends and kick off the weekend on your terms. Our Active Room will have you waging epic Nerf Gun war in capture the flag, testing your point-work in smallsword Jenga, crushing rounds of Dueling Unicorns, and way more. Prefer a more quiet and chilled out social environment? Our Quiet Room will have board games, card games, trivia, and other activities to rest your body and recover for the next day’s fighting.

Whether it’s a tunic or a tie, a ball gown, a bat-suit, or jeans and a t-shirt – come celebrate as your most authentic self. The “historical” you, the “fantasy” you, the “comic book” you – masquerade balls have been a part of history almost as long as swords, and we hope you’ll join us in continuing that tradition.
